With more and more people logging onto the internet every day, many businesses fail to realize why having a website in South Florida is important. This can actually work towards your advantage. You just might not know it yet.

Let’s take a look at some of the things that you should know when it comes to having a website.

No matter where you’re at, customers will know where to find you.

This is so true, it’s not even funny, whether you’re in Miami or West Palm Beach, a website is a way for customers to find you no matter what. Once they discover your website, all they have to do is bookmark it and return to it whenever they can make use of what your business has to offer.

Reach more people than you thought was even possible.

The internet has quickly become the preferred choice of individuals in South Florida that are looking for a certain type of business. Many find themselves looking in places that didn’t even exist back in the early 90s, but they now know it’s the best way to find out anything they want to know.

In fact, during my research, people in Miami and West Palm Beach are actually using the internet to find businesses more than any other source. Sure, it does take some work for them to find you, but once you’re there in front of their eyes, it’s a method of advertising that will be more effective than any other form of traditional advertising.

When you’re asleep, your website is still working for you.

The main thing that you want to look at is how much business you could lose by being away from your phone or your business location. People in South Florida are all looking for some type of business even while you’re sleeping.

When you use a website to draw up new business or a form of communication, you’re making your business available to the people of Miami and West Palm Beach at all hours of the day and night. This doesn’t mean that you have to be working 24/7. It just means you really need a website.

Last, but not least, a website can tell them more than you may be able to.

Think of it like this, when someone in South Florida calls you up, do you think of all of the important information that could close the deal right off the bat? You probably don’t because there’s always that one little thing that we forget each and every time.

A website provides you with the opportunity to sit and think of what could stir up new business for you and display it to the people of South Florida. Simply put, instead of losing a sale because you forgot to mention something, your website could be what makes that sale that you probably wouldn’t have made without it.

As you can see, having a website for your business in South Florida could bring in a lot more money than you make without one. Not to mention, it can save you a lot of time by answering the questions for you. The possibilities are endless and with the internet, it’s just limited to your imagination.

How Facebook Is Taking Over South Florida

Facebook used to not even exist, that was until the 21st generation when modern technology finally saw just how many people would utilize it. Now, more and more people from Miami and West Palm Beach find themselves logging onto Facebook.

Why is everyone in Miami and West Palm Beach signing onto Facebook?

There are many reasons for this, which includes playing games, chatting with their friends, sharing photos, and meeting others to connect with from the South Florida area. This is enough to create a website like Facebook and make it boom.

After all, people seem to use Facebook these days than they do their own telephone. Those who used to think the internet was just a fad now use it because it’s deemed as a necessity.

Businesses found it wise to have a presence on Facebook.

Many businesses in Miami and West Palm Beach have found out that having a presence on Facebook is exactly what they need in order to take their business to the next level. Why in the world is that?

Well, take a moment and think about it. I mean really think it out. Since most of the South Florida residents find themselves on Facebook for various reasons, where’s the best place to put your business in front of their eyes? It’s like TV commercials, except it’s much more affordable.

Facebook provides affordable advertising for South Florida businesses.

That is when you compare it to traditional advertising such as commercials and radio. The cost on Facebook is actually significantly lower and you can target specific audiences. Whereas, with most advertising methods, most businesses that served the West Palm Beach and Miami areas had to target people that their products or services didn’t even relate to.

Keep in mind, Facebook isn’t only about purchasing advertising anymore.

As a matter of fact, it’s become a way for businesses to actually let the public know about what they do and how they could help people. You can fit more words on a Facebook profile than you could in a 30 second spot on television.

When it comes down to it, Facebook goes hand in hand with all online marketing attempts.

Whether you have a website or you have a blog for your business, Facebook is a puzzle piece that you don’t have to struggle with in order to get it to fit into place. As a matter of fact, Facebook is just another way for South Florida businesses to reach out to others they may not have had the opportunity to market to before.

Simply put, Facebook is a revolution in today’s world as we know it. From advertising to creating profiles, the opportunities are endless and the audience just grows even larger as each day passes.
 
Those who aren’t taking advantage of this great opportunity to market to Miami and West Palm Beach businesses simply don’t know what they’re missing out on.

Facebook has made marketing a business easier than it has ever been before. Not to mention, the amount of sales it can generate is astonishing. You just have to see it to believe it!

Good voice just happens to be free/open to anyone now (check it out) and it happens to serve me a very specific purpose which it can serve you too:

Multivariate Testing

Here's how:
Let's say we have a top producer that sends out thousands of mailers daily. How can we test which mailers work best?

By using Google Voice's call forwarding feature.

Simply open two Google Voice accounts (using two gmail accounts + two phone numbers to verify authenticity)

And have them both forwarding to you, or do what real estate wholesalers do and just have them go straight to voicemail (call back leads).

Flyer 2 = F2

Google Voice 1 = GV1
Google Voice 2 = GV2

Say we send 2,000 mailers of each flyer (F1 & F2)

Give F1 GV1 & give F2 GV2

Now feel free to test out different variations of your ads while being sure to adjust and retest over the next few weeks.

You can do this for various forms of marketing so you know what marketing is working without having to ask. Say GV1 for mailers & GV2 for your search marketing campaign.

You give me a landing page and I can quickly pick it apart and create a multi-variate campaign to increase the overall conversion rates.

I do it as an affiliate, I do it for myself, and I've done it for PPC clients... So there aren't many things that impress me when it comes to lander optimization. When I first learned about this last year it was one of those things that I said "wow" to.

Let's begin:
When you're spending your hard earned dollars for traffic EVERY adjustment you make can mean thousands of dollars in the bank or yanked from your wallet. That being said it's the marketer's job to test and retest everything.

Many people think of changing things like:
Headline
Font
Color
Content Orientation
Images / Image Size
Video
Button Colors
Form Size

But, not many people think of testing this one... And I've yet to see it on any insurance websites.

It's call the mad lib web form.

Here's the typical web form next to a mad lib form:

One possible way to utilize this for an insurance agency is to include test this type of form for special niche product/pages.

For example: Say your niche is town/state + Blue Cross

You could make a mad lib form that states what they're most likely to say when requesting information then simply using drop downs to narrow down their options and having text fields for them to fill in their name, email, phone.

Keep in mind that this is primarily short form landing page optimization. This wouldn't be a form to fully qualify a lead before they get to you, just a way to get as many form fill outs as possible. I'm using this in another niche right now on one of my local campaigns with some serious success.

Feel free to give it a test to see how well it works for you. It subconsciously changes the involvement level of the landing page user and tends to result in higher conversion rates for most of the projects & case studies I've come across.

We're talking about +200% increases in conversions for new campaigns! If you have existing traffic or media buying campaigns in place try it out and see how it works for you.

Why Doesn't Your Web Presence Do You Justice? Have you ever shop online forone ugly baby! a particular product, service, or research a company you're interested in only to see their website is full of hard lines, poor contrasting, and sloppy architecture? Why is that?ugly sites are like ugly babies Why are there companies that have hundreds of thousands in revenue, but don't even have the most basic web standards under control? The website may come across as something that was designed by "the design student nephew" or a do it yourselfer with more ambition than pride... Needless to say, companies that end up in this rut suffer from something that I'd like to call "Web dwarfism". It's when you're web presence is so dreadful you're actually at a disadvantage by simply having one. So what's the solution? Shut it down! By putting up a website that you know is not satisfactory you're leaving your organization open to criticism that may not be deserved. Your best bet would be to create an entirely new website that is fitting to your brand. If you're part of a smart, chic organization shouldn't your website say "we're smart & chic"? Just as if you're part of a powerhouse professional services firm your website needs to reflect that. Take your time to figure out exactly what your website should say when someone just looks at the overall information architecture.
